When i was young, I have ever dreamed that i will be the archaeologist one day. And my duty is to research the archaeological remains and protect the remain archaeogy from destroy.
But we know the effects of human are too light when compared to the nature. The Global warming is one of the big threats.
According to the scientists research, the global warming will result in the redistribution of precipitation, melting glaciers and permafrost will change to water, which will rise the sea levels, and many other hazards. According to scientists, this phenomenon threatens not only the living environment of modern humans, but also destroys many valuable archaeological remains.
To solve this problem, the scientists have called for the establishment of a global conservation organization, which is dedicated to monitoring a number of historical sites from global warming, the damage caused and to take appropriate measures to protect.
The doctor who is responsible for managing research projects – Dave Reay said: :”The Global warming make the climate become more and more bad, and it will lead to more melting ice and permafrost, so we must take action to protect those historical treasures. We needs more time and effort to do it well for a long-term, and indeed, it’s meaningful to protect the archaeological remains.
The Scientists have discovered, the etched seacoast have threatened the life of some Inuit villages in Alaska, and the melting ice of Rocky mountains will affect the human remains and cultural relics, such as the hunting tools or clothing of the humans. And, the melting ice of Altai mountain have heavily threatened the precious ancient graves in the ares.
One main researcher of the project, Katie Molyneaux, he said the study resulfts showed that effects of climate change is an important factor in these locations, so not just those archaeological remains are destorying, but also many other remains which are not officially registered, they are under threat due to global warming.
