Nowadays, the Japan Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation has become the most frightening focus of Japan, even all over the world.
With some nuclear radiatoin dust under the influence of wind, they drift to all over the world, and the citizens nearby Japan also began to frighten to the arrival of nuclear radiation.
In fact, what’s the the dangers of nuclear radiation, and whether the nuclear radiation dust drifted by wind will do harm to human, many people knew nothing to it.
One scientist specializes in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster 20 years ago believes, the impact of the radiation hazards to human health has been greatly exaggerated. From the study results of the Soviet nuclear reactor accident, it have shown that the harmful level of low radiation is not so high as people think – and may even be beneficial to human. If not exceeded, the volum of people subject to nuclear radiation can only be considered taking a X-ray.
The evidences from the human and animals who are easy to suffer radiation damage, it make the scientists believe that the way of radiation produced is much more complicated than we expected.
Generally we accepted that risk will increase with increasing radiation. But with this new theory that there is a limit of radiation intensity, under this limit we will be safe to receive any dose of radiation.
The Scientists of the project said, more and more evidences show the theory of dangerous radiation and nuclear power is not correct.
At first, it is estimated that the Chernobyl disaster will cause hundreds of thousands of lives. But 20 years later, the death toll was 56 people. The United Nations Chernobyl Forum estimates that fallout will not be a direct result of the death toll more than 4,000 people, while another 5,000 deaths may be related to radiation.
In Chernobyl, there are only 15 people died among the 4,000 thyroid cancer cases, it largely due to the accident in time after the inspection.
In another world, all the major effects to health are not from the radiation, but the fear in people.
